This song started with one haunting lyric from The Hyacinth House by The Doors: “Why did you throw the Jack of Hearts away? It was the only card in the deck that I had left to play.”

That line lived in my bones for years… and one day, it cracked me open.

This song poured through me during one of the hardest seasons of my life. I was awakening spiritually, breaking generational patterns, healing past lives, and letting go of a relationship that mirrored all of it.

I wrote this as a call to answer—to Jim, to myself, to all of us who’ve ever felt like the last card was tossed aside.
