Meagan Hope & her band is a Portland, OR-based group. Known for their genre-bending sound, which fuses the 60's/70's rock and roll of Laurel Canyon with the gritty energy of Seattle's alternative/grunge scene, Meagan and the guys bring a timeless and raw authenticity to their craft. Meagan has a distinctive voice, often compared to Natalie Merchant with shades of Stevie Nicks, Grace Slick, and even Miley Cyrus, is a defining element of her artistry.
Falling in cosmic love with The Doors at the age of 8, Meagan's music reflects a deep connection to rock's spiritual and rebellious roots. Her 2nd full length album, with its first single, 1974 was released on April 25, is her most personal and transformative work yet. Inspired by her spontaneous kundalini awakening in 2021, the album explores themes of spiritual energy, kundalini, past lives, soul mates, karma, twin flames, the dark night of the soul, late autism diagnosis, mediumship, and discovering her authentic self.
Spiritually guided by a legendary keyboardist from The Doors during this journey, Meagan’s music speaks to seekers of truth, transformation, and connection. Her work offers not just a collection of songs but an invitation to explore the soul's depth and resonance.

4/25 1974
A song about a past life perspective and one about Jim Morrison's legendary girlfriend, Pamela Courson.
7/3 Jack of Hearts
This song answers the question posed in the Doors song, Hyacinth House. Jim sings, "Why did you throw the jack of hearts away?" Meagan gives the mystical and powerful answer in her song, Jack of Hearts! The song was also written when her marriage was falling apart. The opening line, "What are we doing in this house right now?" was written in her living room when she knew the marriage was over and didn't know how to leave.
10/10 Outta Your Mind (Into My Soul)
It's a song about Meagan's spontaneous kundalini awakening and twin flame journey. Meagan is a psychic medium and specializes in twin flame journeys. She wants people to realize it's often not what it seems. It's a form of activation and not a person to be obsessed with. It's your soul split into another human body and reflecting back to you. It's your souls mirror, not a meat bag to chase!
11/11 Parallel Lines
You might notice a theme with the release dates of each single. Each song has been release on a very significant date. Parallel Lines is no exception. In 2021 Meagan started hearing a very familiar voice and this soul who died in May of 2013, started communicating with her. When Meagan asked him to put someone from his life into hers for confirmation she was actually communicating with her, he did just that...and then he kept showing her white parallel lines like you see on the road. She figured out the message, can you?
The next single, Rejected Identity is coming out on February 27.
